Does the Library accepted donations of books and other items?

The Friends of the Library accept book donations that they sell to support the library. Their bookstore located at 1016 C Street, between 4th Street and 5th Avenue.
The Friends are taking donations at the annex trailer at the Downtown library drive-through (1100 E St) of up to 3 boxes or bags on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday mornings between 10:00 am – 12:00 pm.
If you have 3 or more boxes or bags or have exceptional or rare books, call 415-457-3421 to make an appointment.
