How do I renew the items I checked out?

Good Question! Log in to your My MARINet Account. (instructions)

  1. If you're not seeing your list of checked-out items, click on the link Checkouts or "# Items currently checked out" to view your items.
  2. Select the materials you want to renew by checking the boxes in the RENEW column and then click the "Renew Marked" button. If you want to renew everything, click the "Renew All" button.
  3. A screen confirming which items you're renewing will come up next. Click on "Yes" to proceed.
  4. If an item cannot be renewed, a message will appear on the screen, saying "Not all renewals were successful." For renewals that are successful, a new due date will appear in the "STATUS" column, and the word "Renewed" will appear in the status line, along with the new due date of the item. Always check the STATUS column for information on the success or failure of your renewals.
